Twin County EAA Chapter 1426 met on Thursday, March 9, at the airport. Member Sharyl Walker presented the program. She and her flight instructor briefed the group on the plane that she and chapter members are building--the X-Air. The "building" project is in full swing and all are invited to come out to the airport and see the progress on this light sport aircraft. If you cannot visit the airport, then view the pictures posted on the X-Air page.
Sharyl conducted a contest to identify airplane parts.
At the meeting on April 13, a final decision will be made by the membership on the logo entries that have been submitted. The president and the secretary are not voting since they know the sources.
Future plans include fly-in breakfasts, a Young Eagles Rally on May 13, a float in the 4th of July parade, and participation in the airport's air show in September.
